Introducing A Day's Work

A Day's Work

One of the reasons why NTEU is such a special organization is because of the diversity of our members. You come from 31 different agencies, in workplaces around the country performing a vast array of jobs in service to the country.

One of the reasons why NTEU is such a special organization is because of the diversity of our members. You come from 31 different agencies, in workplaces around the country performing a vast array of jobs in service to the country.

In redesigning our website, we wanted a place where all of these faces, voices and stories can come together. A place to shine a spotlight on the incredible contributions of our chapters and members. A place devoted to uniting our union.

A Day's Work is the place where you can check in on NTEU-represented workplaces nationwide. We’ll feature photos of our members in action, tell you about chapters that are defending employees from unfair treatment and grievance decisions that could impact you.

NTEU has a diverse offering on member benefits—some you already use and others you may not yet know about it. From time to time, we will spotlight various benefits to ensure you’re making the most of your NTEU membership.

This is also the place where we’ll tackle the big issues in your workplace and on Capitol Hill and explain what they mean to you and your family. We’ll go inside the pages of new agreements, legislation, executive orders and agency directives—so you don’t have to—and bring you stories on your pay, benefits and workplace rights.

Keep an eye on this space in the coming weeks for columns by our National President Tony Reardon as he visits chapters and meets with members nationwide. You can see snapshots from these meetings and read about some of the issues raised by your colleagues—and what NTEU is doing about them.

The federal workplace is constantly changing, and NTEU is working tirelessly on your behalf, so we’ll have plenty to say. Be sure to visit our blog often so you don’t miss out. And as always, thank you for all you do for the country and for your support of the union.

See you back here soon.
