National Park Service Turns 100

Celebrating 100 Years

Today is the 100th birthday of NPS, and NTEU is proud to represent some of employees who help protect the nation’s heritage and welcome visitors to the country’s natural and historic resources.

As the face of the parks, NPS rangers and groundskeepers maintain national monuments and open spaces. Archeologists, anthropologists and researchers work behind the scenes to protect and preserve our cultural heritage, including working with Native Americans and community organizations.

NTEU is currently working hard at the bargaining table to secure new agreements for Chapters 296 (NPS-HQ) and 336 (NPS-National Capital Region).  Our goal is to provide employees with the strongest benefits and protections so that NPS can have another successful 100 years.
