100 years is a long time to be around, but there’s a law celebrating its centennial that is as important today as when it was first enacted.
The Federal Employees’ Compensation Act (FECA) provides federal employees with workers’ compensation coverage for injuries and diseases sustained while performing their duties. Over the years, NTEU has fought proposals to cut benefits for employees and their families and has testified before Congress in support of FECA and making federal workplaces safer.
