Before leaving office in a few weeks, President Obama offered a final thank you to federal employees for “their passion for public service.”
In a video message posted Tuesday, Obama said, “I want you to know how much I admire the work that you do day in and day out.” He went on to praise federal employees for their passion, professionalism and the career path they have chosen.
“Your jobs aren’t easy, believe me, I know that,” he continued.
“Your good work has never been more important,” said Obama, adding that he is proud of what the administration and federal employees accomplished together.
