FEEA 5K Runners

May is a great time to be in Washington, D.C. The weather is beautiful, the flowers are blooming and the Public Service Charity 5K Run/Walk is set for May 7. But even if you can’t be in the nation’s capital, you can still participate and show your support for federal employees as a virtual or remote participant.

For the fifth year, the Federal Employee Education and Assistance Fund (FEEA) is hosting the race to celebrate federal employees and raise money for those in need. As in previous years, NTEU is again a proud sponsor of the race, which supports FEEA’s emergency loan, disaster relief grant and scholarship programs.

Ready to sign up? Register here before April 1 and save $10. FEEA welcomes friends and family (including strollers) to the event, and you can also sign up as a team. Individuals and team members who raise $300 or more through their personal fundraising page will be refunded their registration fee.

If you sign up as a virtual or remote participant, FEEA will send you a T-shirt to wear in your community on race day.

The race kicks off Public Service Recognition Week, an annual celebration of government employees and their contributions.

Whether you cross the finish line in D.C. or run your own race at your favorite park or trail, you’ll be exercising while you support the only charity devoted to helping federal employees. Register now
