Social Media Campaign Highlights CFPB Value

With the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) under attack in Congress, NTEU is raising public awareness of the many important ways employees help Americans. 

The union launched a Facebook ad campaign that links to our webpage where the public can learn how CFPB can help protect them from unfair and abusive practices in consumer financial markets. NTEU’s campaign also features quotes from our CFPB members about the work they do and why it’s so important to the country.

NTEU, which represents more than 1,100 CFPB employees nationwide, has been a leading and vocal opponent of legislation in the House and Senate that would abolish CFPB.

The consumer watchdog agency has been responsible for returning more than $12 billion to over 30 million consumers since its inception in 2011.
