Last night, the Senate failed to advance the House-passed short-term continuing resolution (CR), H.R. 195, which would continue funding federal agencies at FY 2017 levels until Feb. 16. Both the House and Senate are scheduled to be in session today to consider potential additional short-term funding measures.
NTEU is working with members of both the House and Senate to ensure all federal workers—whether they are deemed excepted and will remain on the job unpaid, or are furloughed—are paid quickly once Congress and the Administration act on a funding measure.
