Clock Ticks Toward Funding Deadline

With the deadline near, neither chamber of Congress has passed a funding measure to keep the government open past midnight. The current continuing resolution expires at midnight. 


As of 10 pm, with only two hours until funding lapses for the federal government, the Senate has not voted. The Senate is attempting to bring to the floor the bipartisan funding deal announced this week but objections from Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) are stalling those efforts.
