Are you or a family member planning on going to college this fall?
If so, financial assistance is available, but the time to apply is now.
There is less than a month left to apply online for a 2018 Federal Employee Education and Assistance Fund (FEEA) scholarship. Through March 21, current civilian federal and postal employees with at least three years of service can apply for scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $5,000. Top students can also win an additional $5,000 through the FEEA-NTEU Scholarship.
Scholarship are open to the spouses and children of federal employees. Current employees can be part-time students; dependents must be full-time.
Last year, FEEA awarded nearly 300 merit-based scholarships selected from around 3,000 applicants from around the country and overseas postings. Since 1986, FEEA has awarded more than $14 million in scholarships.
