Chapter 160 Shows NTEU Pride at Volleyball Tournament

Volleyball Tournament

There are many places to show your NTEU pride—and the volleyball court is one of them.

A team of Chapter 160 (CBP Brownville, Texas) members recently participated in the first annual Fort Brown Volleyball Tournament with border patrol and other law enforcement.

“This will be one of many events our chapter will support for morale-boosting, relationship-building and for the health and well-being of our members,” said Donald Cadriel, Chapter 160 president and a CBP agriculture specialist.

Cadriel praised the CBP physical fitness program, which NTEU negotiated with management and worked to expand from a limited pilot to a nationwide program. The voluntary program, developed by a joint NTEU-CBP workgroup, is aimed at attracting and retaining a physically fit CBP workforce.
