Coronavirus Resource Round-Up

With the onslaught of coronavirus information flooding your inboxes, NTEU wants to ensure you are aware of the critical resources and updates.

In addition to our regular member email updates, NTEU’s website has news, guidance, primers and ways to get involved in our efforts to protect all federal employees amid the pandemic.

Dedicated Coronavirus Resource Webpage

Updated daily, this page features the latest news from NTEU, the Office of Personnel Management and key documents and information from your agency. Check back often and follow us on Facebook for breaking news and updates when new information is available.

Legislative Action Alerts

NTEU needs your help in our ongoing fight to make sure the federal government is taking the proper measures to protect federal workers. We have three new legislative action alerts on critically-important coronavirus health and safety issues. You can get involved right from your phone, tablet or computer. Our members have already sent thousands of letters to their legislators, but we need every federal employee to get involved. Join the movement.

Updated Checklist for the Government

NTEU has updated our checklist of steps we are pushing the federal government to implement to protect employees and their families, including closing buildings and expanding telework.

Exclusive Primer on Leave

Federal employees who need time away from their jobs to care for themselves and their loved ones during this pandemic have several leave options available to them. This member-only primer can help you make the right decision for you and your family.

The NTEU Disaster Fund

The NTEU Disaster Fund is open to federal employees who have exhausted their leave because either they were severely ill from COVID-19 or caring for an immediate family member who was ill from the virus. Immediate family members of employees at NTEU-represented agencies who have died from coronavirus may also apply for the $500 grants to help cover funeral expenses. Apply here.
