From the e-Bulletin: OMB Issues Guidance for Reopening Federal Buildings

On Tuesday, NTEU reported in the e-Bulletin the Office of Management and Budget released a set of guidelines on how to “ramp back up government operations to the maximum extent possible, as local conditions warrant,” for the time when employees will be called back to work.

The guidance does not include a timetable for any recall of employees, or mandate a time to return.

NTEU closely reviewed the guidance and it is clear that agencies need to consider local conditions regarding coronavirus before resuming normal operations.
