USDA Federal Employee Food Drive Goes Virtual

Since 2009, the U.S. Department of Agriculture Feds Feed Families campaign has collected nearly 92 million pounds of food for families in need across the country.

This year’s campaign, which launched Monday, features a new website with virtual tools that allow federal employees to safely contribute to hunger relief during the pandemic.

Food banks face their greatest need during the summertime when donations decline and schools offering free or reduced-cost meals close.

Federal employees can choose from nine different ways to participate on the annual federal campaign hub. From donating online to dropping off donations at local pantries to planting an extra row of produce in your garden, there’s a way for everyone to get involved.

Whether it’s Feds Feed Families, the Combined Federal Campaign or NTEU chapters hosting their own charitable events, the union salutes federal employees who continue to go above and beyond with their generosity.

Federal employees with questions can contact the USDA at fedsfeedfamilies@usda.gov.
