NTEU Helps You Navigate Open Season

It is officially open season, the annual window when federal employees can enroll in new coverage, change their insurance plans under FEHBP, sign up for alternate vision and dental coverage, or opt out of insurance coverage.

This year’s open season runs through Dec. 14.

The November issue of the NTEU Bulletin offers tips for making the most of your benefits, a look at what’s new in 2021, and answers to commonly-asked questions on choosing the best plan for you and your family. NTEU members once again have exclusive free access to the interactive Consumers’ Checkbook plan comparison tool. By answering a few questions about yourself and your family, the tool provides a personalized total cost estimate for every plan allowing you to see which plans might save you the most money or provide the most coverage.

Also in this issue, learn about the different flexible spending accounts available to active federal employees and how they can help you save money.
