Louisiana and Mississippi are beginning a difficult recovery and cleanup after Hurricane Ida swept through and caused significant damage and power outages.
For federal employees in need, financial help is available through the NTEU Disaster Fund, administered through the Federal Employee Education and Assistance (FEEA) Fund.
Grants are available to help with temporary lodging expenses and severe damage to homes not covered by insurance. Applications are available online here.
