The Senate took quick action and passed the House-approved continuing resolution to keep the government funded through Feb. 18, 2022.
The current CR expires tonight.
The legislation now moves to the president’s desk and he is expected to sign it and avoid a disruption in government services.
While avoiding a government shutdown is good news, NTEU will push for Congress to approve full-year appropriations for fiscal year 2022 so agencies can be fully funded.
