While many of us enjoyed the three-day weekend, CBP employees were on the job over Labor Day, protecting our country at airports throughout the country.
To show their appreciation for employees working on the holiday, Chapter 153 (CBP JFK) leaders had pizza delivered to all terminals and operating areas at the John F. Kennedy International Airport staffed by NTEU-represented employees. This show of appreciation isn’t just for Labor Day. Chapter President Lucky Singh and his board arrange to have food delivered to employees working on all federal holidays as a way to say ‘thank you’ and acknowledge their service.
