Saturday is a Fee-Free Day at National Parks

National Park Week begins on Saturday, a time to celebrate our country’s national treasures – our national parks!

To kick off the celebration, entrance fees will be waived for all national parks (including Yosemite) this Saturday, April 22. National Park Service parks, programs, and partners will host events and activities all week.

Every year, NPS  hosts five entrance fee-free days in that provide free admittance to all national parks for everyone. The rest of the days for 2023 are:

Aug. 4 – Great American Outdoors Day

Sept. 23 – National Public Lands Day

Nov. 11 – Veterans Day

In 2022, 237 million people visited national parks and spent $14.5 billion in local communities. NTEU is proud to represent dedicated NPS employees who preserve natural and cultural heritage and provide recreational opportunities around the country.
