The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)—the world's largest annual workplace charity campaign—began earlier this month.
There are many worthy charities participating (more than 20,000!), but only one is devoted exclusively to helping federal employees and their families.
The Federal Employee Education and Assistance (FEEA) Fund (CFC #11185) provides emergency financial assistance, such as grants and no-interest loans, for federal employees who need help with everything from disaster recovery to car repairs to funeral costs. FEEA also awards merit-based scholarships for federal employees and their family members.
NTEU is a founding member of FEEA and National President Doreen Greenwald serves on the FEEA Board of Directors.
