Unique Volunteer Opportunity: NTEU Members Can Help FEEA Shape the Future

NTEU members and retirees are invited to join the Scholarship Selection Committee to assist in the selection process of merit-based scholarships to deserving students.

With comprehensive training, flexible time commitment, and the ability to participate from anywhere, this opportunity is perfect for anyone looking to make a positive impact. No matter your background or experience, your contribution can make a real difference in the lives of federal families.

FEEA is the only independent charity solely devoted to providing emergency financial assistance and higher education scholarships to civilian federal and postal public servants and their families. To date, FEEA has awarded more than $14 million in scholarships to nearly 11,000 individuals, supporting the pursuit of higher education.

FEEA provides the training you need to review and score applications for the 2025 scholarships. Applications will be available in mid-March of 2025, and volunteers can expect to commit 10-15 hours to help review them.
