The National Treasury Employees Union offers its congratulations to Linda Springer on her Senate confirmation as Director of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM). Director Springer assumes the leadership of an agency that is playing a more critical role than ever in the lives of federal employees. In the face of significant change, both underway and proposed, NTEU looks forward to working closely with Director Springer to ensure that the voices of federal workers are heard at the highest levels of government. NTEU has long believed that the public is best served by a federal workforce made up of men and women who are treated with dignity, who are encouraged and rewarded, and whose workplace rights are respected. These will be our goals in working with Director Springer.
